Fit after 50! That’s my battle cry. But I am an advocate of activity for people of all ages. I feel better when I am moving. Full disclosure, I started working out again more for my mental health than my physical health. My most recent jump back into fitness began with push ups at work when I felt like yelling at people, which was often, so soon I was up to 300 in one shift.
Comedian Carl Fuller Jr sent me a message that said, “Fit after 50 . . . I’m still 40.” Excellent! Fit at any age takes work, especially in this era of smart phones and instant gratification. That movie Wall-E should scare the crap out of us. I aspire to be fit at 60 and 70 and 80 too. At 90 I’ll find a good book and go lay on a beach . . . or maybe a mountain top.
