Foam Rolling

When we use a foam roller we are aiming for self-myofascial release, which is a stimulation of the golgi tendon organ of a muscle to promote lengthening and flexibility. In my work out video I promised I’d talk more about foam rolling, so here is a quick video.

In keeping with the Motivation Monday theme, I also want to give a shout out to my good friend John Armenta who completed his All-Land Tri this weekend. He finished three minutes and two seconds faster than his goal! Completing the 5k in 25:21! Strong work! #FitAfter40! Do we get a picture, John?
