My son taught me Ba Duan Jin years ago and it has been part of my different martial arts and workout routines since. It works great as a warm up, warm down, or moving meditation. While backpacking through the Pasayten Wilderness, we had to camp on snow, so I practiced Ba Duan Jin before bed to prevent leg cramps.
For all you martial artists, my horse stance in this video is not the best, so I am reminded that if you don’t use it, you will lose it. I promise to invest more time on my horse stance going forward.
